Effectiveness of Vaccination: Hospital Admission and Length of Stay

Background COVID-19 vaccinations were first met with public hesitancy. There are some debates about the vaccines’ effectiveness in reducing hospital admissions or length of stay. Objective We aim to compare different vaccine statuses and types Methods Data related admissions, stay, need for intensive care, vaccination data obtained from Jordanian Ministry Health. Results A total 17,182 recorded February 2, 2021, earliest date a vaccinated individual who has passed 20-day mark on dose was admitted relation COVID-19, August 15, 2021. The mean age 53 years.
